Since being established in 2014, Parallel 54 has been known for an unparalleled commitment to all communities. This adventure started with meeting up for morning-runs and realizing we needed a group after school for all youths. So we stared an after-school run club. Three days a week Janene and Heather would have 50 plus kids running in the trails and just enjoying being active.
As we started going to events, we realized we were driving a fair way (we live in Northern Alberta). Going to these events, we always so enjoyed our time exploring new parts of the province and realized our Northern town has a lot to offer. So we started planning the Kapâwinihk Wilderness Triathlon.

Who is who?

Janene started Parallel54 Adventures after hosting community run clubs and timing races all over Alberta. Realizing the fun she has when creating community events, she wanted to do more!

Heather joined Janene in her adventure of building community events. Heather is the river girl and designs all race aspects that take part on the river, and keeps Janene on task!
Steph Is a super friend to Janene and Heather and this was a great pic of the three of us, so why not post it!
